About Us

We're building Learning Time Digital, an AI-powered app that will help Indonesian parents become their child's best first teacher. We are seeking an ambitious, technically capable and proactive individual who is excited to build and grow together. If you do not meet the technical requirements, your application will not be considered.

Main Responsibilities

You will be the backend architect and engineer. Everything data, infrastructure and APIs will be yours.

  • Design and build the entire backend on Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Row-Level Security, Edge Functions, Realtime)
  • Own data architecture, API design, and database optimization
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data privacy (Indonesia PDP Law compliance)
  • Set up monitoring, logging, error tracking, and performance optimization

Integration work:

  • Connect backend to AI agent system
  • Build APIs for frontend consumption (React Native app)
  • Integrate third-party services (payments, analytics, push notifications)

Infrastructure and Development Operations:

  • Set up CI/CD pipeline (automated testing, deployment, rollbacks)
  • Production infrastructure, staging environments, backup strategies
  • Security hardening and cost monitoring

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • 3.5+ years production backend experience - you've shipped real products to real users
  • Supabase expertise or Postgres mastery - you know relational databases deeply (we can teach Supabase specifics if you're a Postgres expert)
  • API design skills - you've built APIs that frontends actually love using
  • Security-first mindset - data privacy isn't an afterthought for you
  • Startup experience or mentality - you thrive in ambiguity and move fast
  • Cursor or AI-assisted coding proficiency - you use Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, or similar to code 3x faster

Strong preferences:

  • Experience with AI/ML product integrations (LangChain, vector databases, streaming APIs)
  • Mobile backend experience (understanding mobile constraints like offline-first, battery, bandwidth)
  • CI/CD and DevOps comfort (GitHub Actions, monitoring tools, infrastructure-as-code)
  • Experience working remotely in distributed teams
