Job Overview

Accounting & Tax Officer

The Accounting & Tax Officer will be responsible for handling daily accounting activities and tax compliance, ensuring accurate financial records and timely tax reporting. This role requires solid accounting knowledge, hands-on tax experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in English for work-related purposes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting activities, including journal entries, bookkeeping, and month-end closing.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
  • Calculate, prepare, and file tax reports, including PPN (VAT) and PPh (Withholding Tax) in accordance with regulations.
  • Prepare tax reconciliations and ensure consistency between accounting records and tax reports.
  • Assist in tax audits, tax reviews, and respond to inquiries from tax authorities when required.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties related to accounting and tax matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting and tax roles.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and Indonesian tax regulations, especially PPN and PPh.
  • Experience handling tax reporting and tax compliance processes.
  • Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently.
