1. Core Technical Qualifications (Hard Skills)

A. Web & API Security (Backend / Frontend)

  • Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, including mitigation strategies for SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, IDOR, SSRF, and other common web vulnerabilities.
  • API Security expertise covering REST APIs and GraphQL, including rate limiting, authentication and authorization flows (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and robust input validation.
  • Secure Code Review capability, both manual and automated (SAST / DAST), across major programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go.
  • WAF & DDoS Protection experience, including configuration and management of Web Application Firewalls (e.g., Cloudflare, AWS WAF) and mitigation of DDoS attacks.

B. Mobile Application Security (iOS & Android)

  • OWASP MASVS (Mobile App Security Verification Standard) knowledge and practical implementation experience.
  • Binary Protection expertise, including code obfuscation, tamper detection, and protection against reverse engineering.
  • Runtime Protection, such as root/jailbreak detection and prevention of runtime memory tampering.
  • Secure Storage implementation for sensitive data using platform-specific solutions (Keychain for iOS, Keystore for Android).

C. Infrastructure, Cloud & Container Security

  • Server Hardening skills for Linux-based systems (Ubuntu/CentOS), web servers (Nginx/Apache), and secure SSH key management.
  • Container Security for Docker and Kubernetes, including image scanning, runtime security, and pod security policies.
  • Cloud Security with hands-on experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, particularly IAM roles, VPC design, and Security Groups/Network Security rules.
  • Network Security knowledge, including VPN configuration, firewall rules, and encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL configuration and hardening).

D. DevSecOps & Automation

  • Ability to integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) to ensure automated security testing prior to deployment.

2. Experience & Certifications
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in Cybersecurity, with at least 2 years focused on full-stack security (Web & Mobile).

  • Certifications (at least one Expert-level certification is required):

  • OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) – highly preferred for hands-on technical validation.

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) – for architecture and security management expertise.
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) – foundational to intermediate level.
  • CISM or CISA – considered a strong advantage.
  • Proven Track Record in Incident Response and Vulnerability Management.

3. Non-Technical Skills (Soft Skills)
  • Threat Modeling: Ability to anticipate potential attack vectors before systems are built.
  • Communication Skills: Capable of translating highly technical security risks into clear business-level insights for management and clients.
  • Problem Solving Under Pressure: Calm, structured, and tactical decision-making during security incidents or breaches.

4. Key Responsibilities (Job Description)
  • Conduct regular Penetration Testing (Pentest) on web-based admin panels and mobile applications (Android & iOS).
  • Design and implement scalable security architectures for server infrastructure and databases.
  • Perform secure code reviews and collaborate closely with development teams prior to feature releases.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, such as Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) and GDPR.
  • Monitor real-time security threats and lead mitigation efforts in the event of security incidents or data breaches.
