About the role
As the Chief Engineer at PT Satya Parahyangan Resort, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and maintenance operations of our resort in Bandung, West Java. This is a contract position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our facilities. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering a world-class hospitality experience.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the engineering department, including supervising a team of technicians and maintenance staff
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the resort's infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
- Identify and address engineering-related issues proactively to minimize disruptions to guest experience
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering services
- Manage the engineering budget and procurement of necessary equipment and supplies
- Continuously explore opportunities to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Engineer or in a similar senior engineering role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex facility operations
- Strong technical expertise in building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Proficient in project management, budgeting, and procurement processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Commitment to promoting energy efficiency and sustainable practices
