Cost Estimation Manager

A general contractor company in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Architectural is currently looking for an Estimation & Cost Manager to lead project budgeting, cost estimation, and cost control activities. You will oversee the full cost cycle — from bid preparation to final settlement — while managing the Budget/Cost team and coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bid proposals, project budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Review BoQ, material/labor rates, and cost indicators.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases for bidding and decisions.
  • Monitor actual project costs vs budget and analyze deviations.
  • Review subcontractor contracts, procurement costs, and variations.
  • Manage progress payments, final settlements, and claims support.
  • Lead the Budget/Cost team and improve processes and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, auditors, and design teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering Cost, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in cost estimation or engineering cost management.
  • At least 3 years' experience managing a cost/estimation team.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, QS, bidding, and settlement.
  • Proficient in Glodon and quantity take-off/costing software.
  • Strong analytical, cost control, and risk management skills.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience with large-scale construction companies or general contractors is preferred.
  • Registered Cost Engineer certification is an advantage.
