Job descriptions:

  • Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies focused on high-level placements in print, media broadcast, and online channels to increase company visibility
  • Preparing press releases, keynote speeches and promotional material
  • Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, flyers, videos, social media posts etc.) *
  • Updating and maintaining Social media*
  • Building positive relationships with all high school, university, stakeholders, media and the public
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing team) and maintain open communication with senior management
  • Prepare and distribute press releases
  • Organize PR events (e.g., Open Days, Info Sessions, Exhibition/Expo, Press Conferences) and serve as the company's spokesperson
  • Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
  • Address inquiries from the media and other parties (proposal from schools, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit PR reports
  • Manage PR issues

Job requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role, preferable in Education Industry
  • BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related
  • Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
  • Background in researching, writing and editing publications *
  • Strong communication ability (oral and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office and social media *
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g.: content management systems/CMS) and video/photo editing is a plus
  • Project and budget management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strict time limit
  • Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner
