What The Role Entails
Are you ready to drive cloud adoption in Indonesia's fast-evolving banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector? Tencent Cloud is looking for a passionate and results-oriented Senior Strategic Sales Executive to accelerate our expansion into Indonesia's financial landscape. In this high-impact role, you will identify, engage, and convert key financial institutions by positioning Tencent Cloud's secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, understanding complex regulatory environments and delivering tailored solutions that empower digital transformation across banks, insurers, fintechs, and capital market players. If you have deep market insights, strong consultative selling capabilities, and a track record in BFSI enterprise sales, this is your opportunity to shape the future of Indonesia's cloud transformation.
Responsibilities
- Proactively generate leads and drive strategic sales opportunities within Indonesia's BFSI sector, including banks, insurance firms, fintechs, and regulated financial institutions.
- Build and sustain high-trust relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in the financial services space.
- Lead complex deal cycles, including proposal development and contract negotiation, in collaboration with internal teams and local legal/compliance stakeholders.
- Design and execute industry-specific go-to-market strategies tailored to BFSI clients, with emphasis on compliance, data governance, and security.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects to craft customised cloud solutions that align with clients' business and IT transformation goals.
- Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from lead qualification to closing, with a focus on long-term value and partnership growth.
- Track and report sales pipeline, revenue performance, and account development plans.
- Monitor relevant regulatory changes (e.g. OJK, BI) and market trends that may impact cloud adoption within BFSI.
Who We Look For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise cloud sales experience, with a proven track record of selling into the BFSI sector in Indonesia.
- Demonstrated success in closing complex sales deals within highly regulated environments (e.g. core banking, fraud prevention, payment infrastructure, data security).
- Deep understanding of the Indonesian financial ecosystem, including regulatory bodies (e.g. OJK, BI), competitive vendor landscape, and customer pain points.
- Bilingual proficiency in
Bahasa Indonesia
and
English
; Mandarin is a plus. - Hunter mindset with strong consultative selling and strategic account planning capabilities.
- Technical fluency in cloud services, with the ability to translate technical features into business value.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with legal, solution architects, and global HQ teams in complex deal cycles.
