We now need an
Events & Community Builder
to work with our Global Commercial Lead, in Jakarta. Ideally we are seeking someone familiar with the talent acquisition & HR services industries.

We serve global brands and our business is category leader in Southeast Asia. Examples of our clients are Telkom Akses, Sampoerna, KornFerry, BSNP, Kompas Group, NTU, National University of Singapore, Shopee, HomeCredit, BCG, Nestle & more.

About This Role

As our
Event & Community Builder,
you will be responsible for:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee community and client events (online and offline), ensuring objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met
  • Act as a brand ambassador during events, engaging directly with clients, attendees, and partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Product Experience) to align event themes, messaging, and objectives with brand and business goals
  • Help promote events before and after execution, including active promotion on LinkedIn and other relevant channels
  • Develop initiatives to grow community membership, engagement, and retention using insights from members and attendees
  • Work with copywriters and designers to create event-related content (promotions, recaps, key takeaways)
  • Engage consistently with community members across platforms to build strong relationships
  • Track and analyze event and engagement metrics, reporting on key KPIs and learnings

  • 1-2 years of experience in
    talent acquisition is
    preferred
    — in-house TA, recruiter, or agency
  • Prior exposure to
    events management is preferred
    (deep specialization is not required)
  • Comfortable in a client-facing, market-facing role, interacting with attendees, partners, and stakeholders
  • Confident promoting events and initiatives publicly, including on LinkedIn
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, including public speaking and written communication
  • Proactive collaborator with strong empathy, active listening, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate ideas that drive engagement and community growth
  • Jakarta-based and required to work from the office 2-3x a week
  • Must use a personal device (Bring Your Own Device), ensuring security and performance compliance
  • Be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions, attending virtual video meetings
  • Available to start in January / February 2025
