JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Lead and manage the data science team, providing guidance and technical expertise.
  2. Develop and implement data science strategies to drive business growth, optimize digital banking operations, and build credit scoring models for accurate credit risk assessment.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to identify opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
  4. Design and implement advanced statistical models, algorithms, and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
  5. Conduct thorough analyses and interpret data to generate actionable insights, providing recommendations for improvement and optimization.
  6. Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies, and assess their potential applications for digital banking.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science or a similar role.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Data Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or Management.
  3. Proven leadership experience in managing a team of data scientists or related roles within the financial or digital banking industry.
  4. Strong knowledge of data science concepts, statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and predictive analytics.
  5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience in data manipulation and analysis using SQL.
  6. Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
