Job Summary:

The Bar & Restaurant Supervisor ensures the smooth daily operation of the restaurant by overseeing staff, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position supports the Chef and Operations Manager in achieving business objectives and contributes to a positive dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision and Training

Oversee restaurant staff, including Baristas, Waiter /ess, and trainees during shifts.

Schedule shifts and manage attendance to ensure adequate staffing.

Train and mentor staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.

Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.

Customer Service

Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service for all guests.

Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.

Monitor table turnover and ensure efficient seating.

Operations Management

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the manager for supply orders.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Conduct daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling.

Inspect dining and kitchen areas to maintain cleanliness and order.

Financial Responsibilities

Assist in achieving sales targets through upselling and promotions.

Track and control operational costs to minimize waste.

Handle cash register reconciliations and prepare shift reports.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Communicate with management on operational issues and customer feedback.

Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies for improvement.
