Some of your duties will include:

• Ensure the effective implementation of health, safety, environmental, programs across the LNG Operations and Constructions by developing, executing, and monitoring HSE strategies, plans, and procedures. Safeguard the well-being of all personnel, minimize environmental impact, and ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. Provide leadership and direction to the site HSE team to support safe, compliant, and efficient project execution;

• Develop and implement the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plan for the construction project.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Lead the HSE team on the project site, providing guidance and supervision.

• Coordinate with project management, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate HSE principles into all aspects of the construction project.

• Investigate incidents and near-misses, report findings, and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.

• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications to establish controls and mitigate risks.

• Provide HSE induction, training, and awareness programs for all site personnel.

• Monitor and report on HSE performance, including incident statistics and compliance status, to project management and company leadership.

• Ensure that all necessary HSE documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.

• Stay abreast of new legislation, industry best practices, and advancements in health and safety to continuously improve the project's HSE performance.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as occupational health and safety, environmental management/engineering or a related discipline is typically required.

• Minimum 15-18 years' experience in HSE on gas industry – LNG Plant, Construction project and/or Operation is preferrable; with at least 3-5 years in managerial role; Extensive experience in HSE roles, preferably in project management or construction environments.

• Has ability to develop and implement HSE Project and Business Safety Continuity Plans aligned with regulatory and company requirements; Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations; Deliver HSE training, inductions, and site safety programs; Monitor, report, and ensure HSE compliance in line with MIGAS–SMKM standards; Lead HSE operations across Marine, Construction, and Operational environments; Coordinate HSE integration with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Having middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by Chief Mining Inspector (KaIT) or minimum Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor for Oil & Gas certificate (Ahli K3 Migas Pengawas) or qualifications certificate recognized by Oil & Gas Inspector (Inspektur Migas) in accordance with level of position;

• Having additional relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) / Certified Occupational Health and Safety Expert from National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) or equivalent are highly desirable; AK3 Umum (Ahli K3 Umum) certified by Kemenaker; HSE Supervisor Certificate (K3 Construction / K3 Project); Incident Investigation Certification (e.g., TapRoot, ICAM, or equivalent); Risk Assessment & HIRADC Certification; First Aid and Fire Safety Certification; NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC); ISO 45001 Lead Auditor; ISO 14001 Lead Auditor; Emergency Response Management Certification;
