We represent our client, a national engineering and consulting company in Indonesia specializing in surveying, geotechnical investigations, geological studies, and civil engineering design, delivering comprehensive solutions for infrastructure and development projects.

As a Technician – Earthworks QC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of soil and material testing for construction projects. You will be directly involved in conducting technical field tests and reporting results to support project progress and compliance with engineering standards. This position requires on-site placement in South Sulawesi or Southeast Sulawesi, with scheduled leave provided after every eight weeks of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform soil and material testing, including Sand Cone, Speedy, CBR, Compaction, DCP, Vane Shear, laboratory testing, Grain Size, Atterberg Limits, as well as Concrete Compressive Strength and Aggregate Testing.

  • Prepare accurate reports on test results and provide updates on work progress.

  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of testing equipment.

  • Support quality control activities to meet project requirements and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of results.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/STM) or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in earthworks or construction material testing.

  • Physically and mentally fit (medical check-up required before placement).

  • Willing to be placed on-site in South Sulawesi or Southeast Sulawesi.

  • Open to working on a rotational schedule (maximum 2 weeks of leave after 8 weeks of assignment).

  • Willing to undergo training on materials, equipment, and administrative processes before deployment.
