Senior Data Scientist

The Senior Data Scientist role presents a strategic opportunity to drive innovation and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is critical for enabling scalable analytics, machine learning workflows, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of machine learning models and data pipelines.
• Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define data-driven strategies.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Communicate findings through compelling data storytelling and visualizations.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and AI.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Proficiency in PySpark/ Python and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Experience with ML frameworks, development and deployment.
• Strong understanding of statistical modelling, A/B testing, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Domain expertise in banking or healthcare is a plus.
