  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance with company policies and maritime regulations.
  • Review vessel operations, shipping documents, and ship management processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform analysis of vessel operational costs and identify areas for efficiency improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable maritime regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures.
  • Prepare clear, structured, and timely audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with management and related departments to discuss audit findings and support corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and special audit assignments as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marine Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Internal Auditor, External Auditor, or in a related role, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or maritime industry.
  • Strong understanding of vessel operations, shipping documentation, and maritime processes.
  • Good knowledge of maritime regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Solid understanding of internal audit standards, internal control systems, and risk management.
  • Ability to analyze vessel operational costs and related financial data.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, objective, and demonstrates high integrity.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, ISO Internal Auditor, or ISM Internal Auditor are highly desirable and will be a strong advantage.
  • Placement in Batam, Kepulauan Riau.
