Business Unit Manager

Job Location: Combination of Jakarta (HO) & Cibitung (Factory Workshop)
Reporting to: Commercial Director

Client Overview:
Our client is a family-owned Indonesian distributor of Power tools, Hand Tools, and also a manufacturer of Italian Home Improvement products. They have been around since 1969.

Job Description:
- Manufacture project and custom-made door and window frames/panels
assembled from various components such as aluminum profiles and
accessories (locks and handles, etc).
- Manage project orders and deliver as per agreed delivery schedules
- Planning and scheduling production of components
- Coordinating the assembling of various parts to achieve completed products
- Forecasting demand, i.e. materials and parts to ensure project deadlines are met
- Communicate and liaise with distributor regarding all aspects of projects, from preparation to production and delivery, while maintaining compliance to company's standard.
- Provide competitive strategy so distributors & company can achieve their sales & output target
- Timely project reporting with tight schedule

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Civil/Architecture highly preferred
Experience:
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in commercial and plant/workshop
operation
- Experience in project management & made-to-order finished goods is a huge plus especially in Aluminum or Building Materials
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong customer focus & communication skills
- Posses strong business acumen to identify potential business opportunities
- Planning & Organizing, Project Management & Scheduling
- Deep understanding of plant/workshop operation (PPIC, Production, Quality)
& manufacturing excellence
Languages:
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English (principal is Italian)
