Key Responsibilities

Procurement Duties

  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with project requirements.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, and tender processes.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Finalize purchase orders and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years' procurement experience, with significant focus on project- and construc􀆟on-related purchasing for hotels, resorts, or large commercial developments.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing procurement for multi property or muli-site environments.
  • Proven background in: FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) procurement for new builds and renovations OS&E sourcing for pre-opening and refurbishment projects Construction materials procurement (MEP, civil, interior fit-out, finishes) Capex project procurement from concept stage to handover
  • Managing procurement for refurbishments, expansions, or major renova􀆟on cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with project managers, architects, designers, QS teams, engineering directors, and contractors.
  • Strong record of value engineering, tender evalua􀆟ons, consultant coordina􀆟on, and contract negotiations.
  • Expert knowledge of construc􀆟on supply chains, including MEP systems, civil works, interior fit-out, structural materials, and specialty hotel equipment.
  • In-depth understanding of project procurement processes, including BOQ reviews, bid leveling, contractor/vendor qualification, and project timelines.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, BirchStreet, Procore, or Aconex.
  • Strong analytical ability for capex forecas􀆟ng and spend analysis.
  • Strong governance and compliance mindset, crea􀆟ng procurement frameworks and SOPs for capex and project-related procurement.
  • Capable of leading teams across mul􀆟ple hotel projects and opera􀆟onal procurement streams simultaneously.
  • Strong financial literacy, including capex budge􀆟ng, project cost reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings without compromising quality or brand compliance.
