Job Summary

We are looking for a Trail Organizer to support our trail experiences on the AW Trail in Bali. The ideal candidate is passionate about nature and hiking, communicates well, and understands Balinese culture and history.

This role also includes supporting B2B partnerships with schools, travel agencies, and organizations aligned with Astungkara Way's regenerative tourism values — ensuring smooth coordination, clear communication, and strong partner relationships while upholding the quality of our experiences.

Main Activities

In cooperation with the AW Trail team and in close collaboration with local partners and partner organizations during the trail:

1. Trail Facilitating

  • Be available overnight and weekends for 10–16 day trails.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping to ensure trail experiences are delivered completely and on schedule.
  • Bridge communication between local partners and participants.
  • Prepare destinations and ensure readiness of facilities.
  • Collect feedback and share daily updates with the team.
  • Take photos and videos during the trail for both pilgrim documentation and social media content needs.
  • Ensure participant safety and experience quality.
  • Ensure local partners are ready for participant arrivals.
  • Adapt to changing conditions and ensure participant safety.
  • Send daily progress reports via WhatsApp.
  • Coordinate with trail guides to ensure quality and consistency.

2. B2B Partnership Coordination

  • Coordinate with partners (schools, travel agencies, organizations).
  • Represent Astungkara Way in meetings and correspondence.
  • Gather partner feedback and share insights with the team.
  • Support alignment of program delivery with partner expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for long-term collaborations.
  • Represent AW at relevant events or trade shows in Indonesia or abroad.

  • Understand Astungkara Trails and regenerative tourism.
  • Support smooth trail operations and strong participant engagement.
  • Build and maintain trusted B2B relationships.
  • Adapt to changing conditions during trail operations.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all experiences.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent Indonesian and good English (spoken & written).
  • Experience in partnerships, client relations, or B2B communication (preferred).
  • Good organization and time management.
  • Passion for hiking, nature, and sustainability.
  • Leadership and problem-solving ability.
  • Flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays).
  • Familiar with Astungkara Way's mission and content.
  • Bonus: interest in farming, eco-tourism, or sustainability.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
