Formed through a joint venture between Temasek, Wavemaker Impact, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and GenZero, Rize's technology captures vital agricultural data essential for implementing sustainable farming practices. This makes rice farmers more climate-resilient, increases their crop yields, lowers costs, and facilitates efficient access to finance. Rize currently has operations in Indonesia and Vietnam and plans to expand further within the region. To expand, Rize is unlocking climate/green financing facilities to help serve more farmers in their transition to sustainable rice cultivation. What Are We Building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri-inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields.

Our current tech stack includes React Native for mobile applications, ReactJs for web app powered by Rest APIs developed with JAVA using Spring and Hibernate.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and structured
Operation Strategy and Business Excellence Manager
to drive data-backed decision-making and program execution across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, a strong understanding of business strategy, and the ability to leverage data for insights and optimization. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can work cross-functionally to manage multiple projects, improve efficiencies, and contribute to the company's growth. Prior experience in startups and an agri-tech background is a plus, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data analysis to drive program success, identify opportunities, and optimize performance.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and leadership teams to implement key programs.
  • Track and analyze key metrics, presenting insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and impact measurement.
  • Bring a structured problem-solving approach to complex business challenges.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced startup environment, driving execution with ownership and accountability.

Key Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience if MBA (from a reputed institution) OR 6+ years if non-MBA.
  • Strong background in data-driven decision-making, program management, and strategy execution.
  • Prior experience in startups is highly desirable.
  • Agri-tech background is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Entrepreneurial experience is a plus, demonstrating ownership and initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to operational sites.
