We're Hiring — Junior Aquarist (Full-Time | Sanur, Bali)

Bali Reef Aquarium is expanding and we need one more set of skilled, steady hands in our livestock team. If you can keep a clownfish stress-free during acclimation and won't hesitate to Google-search l a diagnosis at 10 p.m., read on.

What success looks like

You minimise fish loss — spotting trouble early and acting decisively.

You move livestock efficiently — receiving, quarantining, and shelving fish, corals, and plants without drama.

You educate customers and the team — turning curiosity into reliable husbandry practice.

Must-haves (non-negotiable)

minimum of D3 diploma (Aquaculture, Marine Science, or similar).

Valid academic certificate in hand.

Comfortable handling fish and other aquatic animals daily.

Relentless curiosity and the habit of finding answers, not waiting for them.

any work experience is a plus. but the most important thing is to tell me why you like to work with any aquarium or pond related work.

getting hands dirty, relentless scrubbing is a must.

and of course the most important thing is heart. if you like the animal, life would be easy.

Day-to-day scope

Receive and acclimate incoming livestock.

Maintain stock in store and warehouse systems.

Keep corals and plants sale-ready.

Constantly push mortality toward zero.
