POSITION SUMMARY:

This role identifies and assesses risks in the workplace or work processes and implements recommended measures to eliminate or contain them. The analytical and observant individual is also responsible for preventing or reducing health and environmental risks, formulating environmental protection policies and procedures, and developing alternatives to enhance operational procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Strong Leadership & Excellent Communication Skills
2. D3/D4/S1 from any related field
3. Minimum 3 year as EHS Officer/Specialist
4. Holding active certificate of Kemnaker AK3U
5. Kemnaker Fire Fighter and CPR/First Aid certification are a plus
6. Understanding of EHS Regulation and Procedure
7. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
9. Excellent Auditing Skills (Compliance Audit, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements)
10. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
11. Ensure daily tasks are performed in alignment with OHS&E practices and applicable standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and Automotive Quality Management System (IATF 16949)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Address areas of non-conformance to Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards through corrective actions
2. Analyze areas of non-conformance to Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards to determine reasons for non-conformance
3. Analyze how different approaches may impact the problem-solving outcomes
4. Conduct learning activities to enhance Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and practices
5. Develop an action plan based on best solutions identified during EHS solutioning discussions
6. Develop corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations
7. Develop measures to enhance organizational awareness of environmental protection
8. Drive WSH activities to ensure department compliance with requirements
9. Evaluate risk factors that impact efficiency
10. Facilitate discussions on WSH reports and findings
11. Formulate WSH solutions based on analysis of WSH reports
12. Formulate EHS protection policies and procedures
13. Implement advanced environmental protection policies and procedures
14. Optimize use of allocated resources within business activities
15. Organize internal audit schedules for EHS and customers
16. Review allocation of resources across different business activities
17. Review changes in compliance/tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility to manage impact on compliance operations
18. Review different aspects of project management based on priorities and needs
19. Review environmentally friendly trends in the industry for implementation Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
