Head of EXIM

Job Description :

1. Lead and manage all export and import activities from planning to shipment and customs clearance.
2. Ensure company compliance with customs laws and international trade regulations.
3. Maintain effective coordination with government bodies and external parties: Customs, EMKL, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and related authorities.
4. Supervise and verify the completeness and accuracy of all EXIM documentation.
5. Monitor logistics costs and develop strategies for efficiency and on-time delivery.
6. Prepare and present regular EXIM performance reports to management.
7. Lead, train, and supervise the EXIM team to meet departmental KPIs and support business goals

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in export-import operations, preferably in a foreign investment (PMA) manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, licensing, bonded zone procedures, and export-import documentation.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
• Good leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to manage cross-department coordination (logistics, production, warehouse, finance).
• Strategic thinker with team management capabilities.
• Willing to be based at the Batang, Central Java site.
