Our client is a Japanese IT consulting company specializing in ERP system implementation and digital transformation services for multinational and local clients in manufacturing, logistics, and distribution industries.

On behalf of our client, PT Brexa Raya Indonesia is currently seeking a qualified and experienced ERP Technical Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC / FO) to join their professional team in Jakarta.


Job Purpose

The ERP Technical Consultant will be responsible for handling the full development lifecycle of ERP implementation projects — from system analysis and technical design to customization, integration, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC/FO systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze clients' existing systems and business models to propose ERP-based solutions or other alternatives.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical and functional specifications.
  • Provide expertise in ERP system configuration, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead and execute system development ensuring project quality, productivity, and deadlines.
  • Perform debugging, problem analysis, and system upgrades.
  • Prepare documentation, test scripts, and user manuals.
  • Deliver user training and technical support during implementation and post-go-live.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful system deployment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential (E):

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an ERP Technical Consultant.
  • Hands-on experience in at least 5 ERP implementation projects valued above IDR 1 billion (excluding software/hardware).
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC / FO development and implementation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, IIS.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both spoken and written).
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and capable of leading projects under tight schedules.

Desirable (D):

  • Experience in software projects for manufacturing, logistics, or retail industries.
  • Prior experience working with Japanese companies or clients.
  • Familiarity with SAP, NAVision, Axapta, or MCFrame.
  • Understanding of Azure services.
  • Japanese language proficiency will be a strong advantage.

Additional Information

  • Must have working experience in an IT consulting firm (external consultant background preferred).
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is mandatory.
  • Conversational English is required (interview with Japanese Directors).
  • Preference for candidates with stable career history (no frequent job changes).
