About the role
This is a contract role for a Supply Chain Management Supervisor (SCM SPV) for a mining pump solutions.
The role is based in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing and coordinating all supply chain management activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies and policies to optimise operations
- Analysing supply and demand data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favourable terms and ensure compliance
- Monitoring inventory levels and supply chain performance metrics
- Identifying and resolving any supply chain issues or bottlenecks
- Providing leadership and guidance to the supply chain team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years' experience in supply chain management, preferably in the pump industry
- Strong understanding of supply chain best practices and ability to implement process improvements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address supply chain challenges
- Proven experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating favourable contracts
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve supply chain objectives
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
