About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA & QC Supervisor to join our team at PT. Idelux Furniture Indonesia in Semarang, Central Java. As a contract role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our furniture products, contributing to the overall success and growth of our business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance tools and techniques for the entire production processes to meet industry standards and customer requirements
  2. Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify and resolve any quality issues in due time
  3. Communicates quality standard and parameters to QC team, production development team and other appropriate team
  4. Collaborate with production teams to identify and address root causes of quality problems, and implement corrective actions
  5. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to quality control activities
  6. Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and best practices in regard to the (on-going) Quality Management System
  7. Continuously monitor and improve quality control systems and processes to drive continuous improvement
  8. Ensure compliance of Quality Management System with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control supervisory role, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering
  3. Strong understanding of quality control principles, techniques, and best practices
  4. Proficient in using quality control tools and systems e, such as statistical process control, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and Six Sigma
  5. Understand with improvement process, line balancing, material flow.
  6. Excellent problem-solving, Self-detail orientation, analytical, and decision-making skills enable to perform and deliver the task on time
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  8. Ability to lead and motivate a team of quality control technicians
  9. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards
  10. Fluent in English both oral & written is a must
