About the role

PT Ganesha Sanskritik Indonesia is seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual narrative of our media projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of engaging video content that will be showcased across our various platforms. Based in our Jakarta office, you will have the chance to collaborate with our dynamic content creation team and deliver visually stunning videos that captivate our audience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Editing raw footage into polished, visually appealing video content
  2. Collaborating with the production team to understand the creative vision and story objectives
  3. Selecting, arranging, and manipulating video, audio, and visual elements to enhance the overall cinematic experience
  4. Applying advanced video editing techniques, including colour grading, special effects, and transitions
  5. Ensuring the final video products meet brand guidelines and industry standards
  6. Providing feedback and suggestions to improve the quality and effectiveness of the video content
  7. Adhering to project timelines and deadlines to deliver high-quality work on schedule

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a professional or agency setting
  2. Proficiency in using video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
  3. Strong understanding of video editing principles, including storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including producers, videographers, and graphic designers
  5. Excellent time management skills and the ability to priorities multiple projects simultaneously
  6. A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning video content
  7. Familiarity with the latest video production trends and industry best practices
