General Affair Department Head

Job Description:

  • Lead and oversee all General Affairs functions, including facility management, asset control, procurement, company vehicles, office maintenance, and general administrative support.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations across all GA activities.
  • Supervise Section Heads and staff under the GA Department, providing direction, coaching, and performance evaluation to maintain high productivity and service quality.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure high-quality services at competitive costs.
  • Ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to company regulations and government requirements.
  • Coordinate office renovation, relocation, and improvement projects to maintain a safe and productive working environment.
  • Monitor and control department budgets, expenses, and procurement processes in line with company financial policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs, employee welfare, and corporate initiatives.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in General Affairs or Facilities Management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead multiple sub-teams
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of general affairs operations, procurement processes, and building management regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or GA management systems is an advantage.
  • Proactive, disciplined, and results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
