About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team under a project-based contract, with placement at a banking institution in Jakarta. In this role, you will analyse business needs, gather and document requirements, and identify the most effective technology solutions to support banking operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of end-to-end application projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from users and stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, BRDs, user stories, and process flows.
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT teams to ensure solution alignment and accurate delivery.
  • Participate in solution design, SIT/UAT testing, implementation, and post–go-live support.
  • Support end-to-end project documentation and ensure compliance with IT governance and banking requirements.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports, documentation, and presentations when required.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Experience designing and implementing at least 5 applications/systems (end-to-end project cycle).
  • Experience in the banking industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong capability in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and propose practical solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Willing to work under a project-based contract arrangement.
