Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on consumer products, particularly for export markets, to identify market trends, consumer needs, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Develop and implement analytical tools and methods to evaluate product performance, quality, and compliance with export market standards.
  • Perform research on export market regulations, certifications, and product requirements, including raw materials, labeling, safety, and product claims.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to R&D, Marketing, and Regulatory teams to support product adjustments and development for export compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the New Product Development (NPD) process to ensure products meet both technical specifications and country-specific regulations.
  • Build and maintain a market research database for export markets, covering trends, regulatory updates, and consumer insights.
  • Support market testing and consumer insight studies to validate new product concepts for international consumers.
  • Prepare technical reports and research documentation required for product registration or certification in export markets.
  • Ensure research findings are translated into strategic recommendations that guide product positioning and development decisions.
  • Continuously monitor and update information regarding international regulation changes that may affect Mowilex's global product portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, or Technical fields (such as Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines).
  • Proficient in English (both spoken and written) – this is a must, due to communication and research needs related to export markets.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SPSS).
  • Experience in research and analysis, including developing tools or methods to evaluate product performance and market trends.
  • Experience in researching export market requirements and regulations, particularly related to product compliance, labeling, or formulation standards.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions (R&D, Regulatory, Marketing) to ensure product alignment with market and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding that this is a newly developed function focusing on consumer products mainly for export, which have different requirements than domestic products. Therefore, the ability to understand and adapt to export market specifications is essential.
