With over 400 mechanical, electrical and fire engineers throughout our Global Building Services business, Beca has the skills and experience to deliver integrated building services solutions that are sustainable, cost-efficient and flexible.

We work with architects, contractors, building owners and developers to provide innovative engineering solutions that respond to the performance needs of today's buildings.

We are seeking a passionate and outgoing Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Jakarta. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to be part of a vibrant, growing team and expand on the technical skills you acquired during your studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Support – Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communications systems
• Technical Documentation – Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports under the guidance of senior engineers
• Project Collaboration – Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and integration of electrical systems with other building services
• Compliance and Standards – Ensure all designs comply with local codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Problem Solving – Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and developing effective solutions
• Learning and Development – Engage in continuous professional development to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Previous internship or project experience in building services engineering is beneficial but not mandatory
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and building systems
• Proficient in English (both written and verbal communication)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment
