Who are we?

Our company PT Golden Ocean Line operates and owns bulk carrier in Indonesia. We are fast leading shipping, warehouse and container yard provider in Indonesia.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Second Engineer (2nd Engineer) to join our Bulk Carrier fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven experience in engine room management, and a deep understanding of maritime engineering standards and safety procedures. As the Chief Engineer's key assistant, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and performance of the main engine and all auxiliary machinery onboard, ensuring the vessel's propulsion and power systems run safely and efficiently at all times.

Requirements

  1. Holder of Certificate of Competency (COC) Class II – Engine Officer (ATT II)
  2. Valid STCW Certificates (MEFA, AFF, PSCRB, MFA, SSO, etc.).
  3. Minimum 1 years as Second Engineer on Bulk Carrier vessels will be prioritized.
  4. Strong knowledge of main engine operations and auxiliary machinery.
  5. Familiar with Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and ship management systems.
  6. Good leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  7. Proficient in written and spoken English will be beneficial.
