Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Import Supervisor located in Kelapa Gading. The Purchasing Import Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment from international suppliers, managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The role involves negotiating contracts, maintaining accurate records, analyzing market trends, and ensuring compliance with import regulations.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in import purchasing or overseas sourcing.
  • Proficient in English (spoken & written); ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and basic negotiation skills with international vendors.
  • Able to work multitasking and accustomed to tight import shipment deadlines.
  • Honest, disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to maintain vendor & pricing confidentiality.
  • Strong efficiency and cost-saving mindset.
  • Familiar with HS Code, import clearance process, ERP system, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Competent in core import functions: sourcing, negotiating, costing, calculating landed costs, and arranging import shipments efficiently.
