About the job

We are hiring an Art Director to help build the visual identity of multiple games in various projects and games. As an Art Director, you will be a member of our core team and have the hands-on opportunity to work with multiple studios to drive the artistic direction across multiple games.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Define the visual identity of multiple games, in line with the creative vision, the business ambition, the production constraints and the brand guidelines.
  • Create and maintain the art bible (documents, guidelines, keyarts, mockups, etc) and contribute to the development of concept arts, ref assets, ensuring that artists have clear benchmarks and references for asset production.
  • Ensure that artistic direction and quality is followed by conducting quality reviews of art assets produced.
  • Challenge and help the artistic teams to reach outstanding aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate a consistent direction in all communication materials: trailers, promotional campaigns, and community posts.
Requirements
  • Great artistic judgment and decision making with a general understanding of color, lighting, composition.
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating proficiency in both 2D and 3D art.
  • In-depth comprehension of the technical landscape; tools, software, and techniques for the generation of optimized game art.
  • Proven experience working closely with other disciplines as well as being a team player
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the games industry.
  • Diploma in graphic design, 2D / 3D, video game art or equivalent experience.
  • Good UI & UX sensitivity is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the video game market is a plus.
