What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports related to nickel trading activities
  2. Ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including purchases, exports, and logistics costs
  3. Assisting in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support operational planning
  4. Conducting financial audits and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial records and compliance with internal controls
  5. Providing financial analysis and reporting to support commercial decisions and risk management in nickel trading
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, logistics, tax) to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy
  7. Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial policies

What We're Looking For

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  2. 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within the mining, commodities, or natural resources sector
  3. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and best practices in FAT functions
  4. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Accurate, XERO or similar ERP systems) and data analysis tools
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in high-volume transaction environments
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic trading environment
