A confidential property group in Jakarta is seeking a Strategic Business Unit Head to lead a newly established premium events and hospitality division within one of the city's landmark towers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full commercial and operational strategy for a new premium events and hospitality business.
  • Drive revenue growth through partnerships, bookings, and corporate client engagement.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure exceptional guest experience and service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships within the luxury and corporate segments.
  • Manage P&L performance and ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class results.
  • Collaborate with internal support functions (finance, HR, marketing) to align business and operational goals.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in hospitality or event management, ideally from 4–5 star hotels or luxury venues.
  • Proven commercial acumen with solid experience in sales and P&L management.
  • Strategic yet hands-on leadership style with strong people management capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging senior corporate and premium clients.
  • Comfortable working in a relationship-driven, fast-paced environment that demands high standards.
  • A polished sense of service, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
