About the Role

Bina Bangsa School is seeking an experienced and passionate Biology Teacher to join our growing academic team. Position: Biology Teacher (Secondary)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Curriculum: Cambridge International Curriculum

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality Biology lessons for IGCSE & AS/A Level in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum.

  • Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that promote deep conceptual and scientific understanding.

  • Facilitate laboratory activities, investigations, and practical experiments that reflect Cambridge standards.

  • Utilize Apple technology and digital tools effectively to enhance teaching and learning.

  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support.

  • Create an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere for all students.

  • Collaborate with academic teams to maintain high instructional standards and support school initiatives.

  • Participate in school events, departmental meetings, professional development, and parent-engagement activities.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Biology.

  • Proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Biology.

  • Strong understanding of the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) standards.

  • Competent in integrating technology in the classroom; experience in an Apple Distinguished School environment is an advantage.
