Role Description

The Analyst Technology is responsible for supporting and maintaining Caterpillar's MineStar technologies used in autonomous and semi-autonomous mining operations.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or Telecommunication Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience or internship in a related field.
  • Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in
    computer networking
    (routing, switching, network configuration, and troubleshooting).
  • Familiarity with
    PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
    operations, programming, diagnostics, and maintenance.
  • Experience working with
    microcontrollers
    , including basic programming, interfacing, and hardware integration.
  • Ability to design, manage, and maintain
    databases
    , including data structure understanding, query operations, and database optimization.
  • Practical experience with
    server administration
    , such as installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in technical and system-related environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, and maintenance.
  • Willingness to work in mining or industrial environments and adapt to field conditions.

Location

Willing to be assigned to Tembagapura, Papua at the PT Freeport Indonesia mining site.
