Job Description

This position will form part of Cleantech Solar's Projects Team in Indonesia and will report to the Head of Operations – Indonesia. The primary roles are to deliver project activities from pre-construction to operation and manage Cleantech Solar's stakeholders in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and carrying out routine site visits, meeting clients and contractors
  • Working with other local and regional groups – HSSE, Finance, Legal, Business Development, Procurement, Engineering and O&M
  • Reviewing technical documents and project requirements
  • Arranging resource planning, scheduling and verifying project costings
  • Working with Procurement for material and equipment purchase and delivery
  • Running regular project meetings and driving execution to meet schedules
  • Updating weekly project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Verifying project progress payment claims follow up on payment clearance
  • Understanding the project phases and executing them such as contractors' purchase order, project insurance, joint meter reading, interconnections/shutdown and PV system
  • Liaising with local authorities and clients to meet country regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree/Graduates with Electrical/Mechanical qualifications/accreditations
  • Ability to travel domestically as and when Cleantech's business needs arise
  • 3+ years of work experience as Project Manager in renewable energy, power sector utilities, consulting firms, etc.
  • MS Project, Powerpoint and Excel advanced skills will be advantageous
  • Project management-related courses and certification such as PMP
  • Independent, goal-oriented and a "start to finish" attitude
  • Ability to work independently at sites but work in unison with the teams
  • Understanding the macro picture of projects but detail-oriented as well
  • Delivering results within project dynamic challenges deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills and emotional stability
  • Have experience supervising solar projects at sites for quality checks and activities method of statement compliances. Understand local regulations for solar industry

Location

  • Job location for the above position is in Jawa island, Indonesia, with requirements for travel to various Cleantech Solar sites and locations across different sites in the country.
