About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Staff to join our team at PT Karunia Kuliner Indonesia (Restaurant Remboelan) in West Jakarta. As a Purchasing Staff, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory of materials and supplies essential to the smooth operation of our premier restaurant chain. What you'll be doing

  1. Identifying and sourcing high-quality suppliers for all necessary raw materials, equipment, and other operational resources
  2. Negotiating favourable terms with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards
  3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production demands
  4. Coordinating with the logistics team to manage the timely delivery of purchased items
  5. Analysing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline purchasing processes
  6. Collaborating with the finance and operations teams to ensure purchasing activities align with budgetary and operational requirements
  7. Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform purchasing strategies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the food and beverage industry
  2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a proven track record of securing favourable supplier contracts
  3. Proficient in inventory management, including the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on cost optimisation
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards
  7. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
