Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our Power & Utilities Department at an overseas industrial project site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and plumbing systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, distribution boxes, lighting, and associated equipment according to drawings and standards
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, MCC panels, motors, and lighting systems
• Conduct plumbing/pipework tasks, including installation, sealing, and replacement of valves, flanges, pipes, and hoses
• Carry out mechanical assembly, disassembly, alignment, welding, and repair of equipment components as needed
• Support breakdown response, standby/shift duties, and emergency power restoration
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and technical records
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and proper use of PPE

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of industrial or mining equipment maintenance experience
• Associate degree or above in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related engineering fields
• Certified electrician with basic plumbing skills; relevant professional or electromechanical certificates
• Proficient in reading technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, including mechanical assembly, welding, and fitting operations
• Basic English communication skills for safety and coordination
• Physically fit and able to work at height, in confined spaces, and under shift conditions

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyor belt vulcanizing, laser shaft alignment, and condition monitoring (vibration/temperature)
• Knowledge of lifting/rigging signaling, welding, and mechanical energy isolation
