About the role

As a Procurement Sourcing Assistant Manager (Raw Material Food, Cosmetic, Feed, Chemical) at PT Tigaka Distrindo Perkasa, you will play a crucial role in optimising the procurement of raw materials for the company's chemical manufacturing operations. This full-time position is based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers of raw materials for the chemical manufacturing processes
  2. Negotiating favourable contract terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
  3. Monitoring and managing supplier performance to maintain high-quality raw materials and on-time deliveries
  4. Collaborating with the production and inventory teams to forecast raw material demand and plan procurement activities accordingly
  5. Implementing and optimising procurement processes and systems to drive efficiency and transparency
  6. Providing regular reporting and analysis on procurement activities and performance
  7. Supporting the Procurement Manager in strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing roles, preferably within the chemical or manufacturing industry
  2. Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a proven track record of successful supplier partnerships
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise procurement processes and drive cost savings
  4. Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools to generate insights and reports
  5. Effective communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  6. A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  7. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
