About this Position:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Chief Accountant to join the finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. Good English and communication skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate must have experience with ERP systems and working in a construction or civil engineering company.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle AP, AR, tax preparation, and tax filings.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Prepare statutory reports and coordinate with tax officers or consultants when needed.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with external auditors.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must have experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP (e.g., Odoo, Xero, SAP, and Quickbooks).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Experience supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
  • Willing to be placed in Ubud, Bali.
