Position Objective

To develop, optimize, and ensure that injection molding and assembly production processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with automotive industry quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve injection molding and assembly production processes.
  • Establish and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production lines.
  • Analyze machine capacity, tooling, and jigs to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Supervise product trials, including validation of injection and assembly processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in production areas and provide corrective solutions.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to maintain product standards.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports on efficiency, defect rates, downtime, and process improvements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to production processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, particularly in injection molding and assembly.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic injection processes, automotive component assembly, and ISO/TS 16949 standards.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving tools (FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Effective communication and teamwork across departments.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is an advantage.
