Role Description

The Accountant will be responsible for managing client's financial information, performing bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with local tax and financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring client's financial operation, performing tax compliance, and providing support for financial statements.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum
    2 years
    of experience in
    accounting or finance roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
    (PSAK)
  • Experience preparing
    journal entries, reconciliation
    and
    financial reports
  • Proficiency in
    accounting software (e.g., Xero, Accurate or similar systems)
  • Strong
    Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, etc)
  • Knowledge of
    tax regulations
    and
    internal controls

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing
    financial statements
    in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Perform
    bookkeeping
    tasks, including posting
    journal entries
    and maintaining
    general ledger accounts
  • Prepare
    bank
    and
    balance sheet reconciliations
    for multiple clients
  • Assist with
    tax return preparation
    (withholding tax, value added tax, etc.)
  • Communicate with clients to
    request financial information
    and
    clarify accounting and tax issues
  • Assist with
    month-end
    and
    year-end
    closing activities
    for client accounts
  • Use
    accounting software
    to process financial data (e.g., Xero, Accurate or similar systems)
  • Ensure compliance with firm procedures, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify discrepancies or unusual items and escalate them to project lead
