Position Introductory:
Manage the Master Data Management (MDM) team performance and ensures ERP master data aligns with HQ standards. Leads cross-functional efforts for data standardization and user enablement. Manages data migration, mapping, and testing during ERP migration/transitions.
Incumbent is required to analyse technical and functional specifications provided by users. Ability to customize, support and maintain ERP applications for respective business functions. Ability to lead and manage a team. Responsible for importing and exporting data from programs to a wide variety of databases and other applications. Those with Finance degree or had been an ERP key user are welcome to join.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a first level support team.
- Analyse business processes and requirements from Key Users and effectively resolve user tickets
- Evaluate Change Request, analyse impact to the business process and system configuration
- Create functional/technical specification and reports
- Conduct Business Requirement Analysis and Gap Analysis
- Manage application setup/configurations and simple enhancements
- Handle customizations and setting up of ERP environments, working closely with HQ ERP team/vendor on project customizations.
- Assist in Key user testing, training and maintenance of ERP.
- Manage any related projects / ad-hoc matters tasked by IT Manager
Master Data Management (MDM
- Supervise and oversee the Master Data Management (MDM) Team performance
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and governance of ERP master data to align to HQ standards and policies.
- Review and approve new master data requests, ensuring compliance with HQ coding structures, naming conventions, and governance rules.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional collaboration for ERP master data clean-up and standardization.
- Develop SOPs, guidelines, and conduct training sessions to strengthen user capabilities in master data management.
- Supervise and validate data migration, mapping, and testing activities during ERP migration/ transitions.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related Engineering or Finance degrees or relevant
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in ERP modules (Dynamics NAV experience more preferable) particularly in Finance and Manufacturing industry
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in leading a team with minimum 2 team member
- Experience in user requirement gathering and solutioning
- Good communication and possess analytical skills
- Ability to manage projects and team of technical consultants to ensure deliverables within the scope and time given
- Possess good exposure in working on customization of ERP system, ERP implantation and providing training to internal business units
- Occasional overseas travel is required
- Knowledge of Jet Report is an added advantage
- Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as a team player
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
