About the Role
: The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with business goals while overseeing budgeting and supplier management.

Responsibilities
:

• Strategy & Planning
  : Develop and implement overall procurement strategies, aligning them with business goals, and overseeing budgeting.
• Supplier Management
  : Identify, evaluate, select, and build strong relationships with reliable suppliers; manage contracts and performance.
• Team Leadership
  : Lead, mentor, and supervise the procurement team (buyers, managers) to ensure smooth operations and meet KPIs.
• Process Improvement
  : Champion initiatives to enhance procurement processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
• Risk & Compliance
  : Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations (legal, safety, environmental).
• Internal Collaboration
  : Work closely with other departments (e.g., Operations, Finance) to understand their needs and manage requests.
• Negotiation
  : Lead complex negotiations for major purchases and service agreements.
• Reporting
  : Analyze procurement metrics, track savings, and report on performance to senior management.

Qualifications
: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Required Skills
:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Preferred Skills
:

• Experience in a leadership role within procurement.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
