Responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting operations of the company, including the management of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations in Indonesia.

Job description:

  1. Financial and Accounting Oversight


• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK).


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


• Perform bank reconciliations and review key account balances.

  1. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management


• Monitor customer receivables and ensure timely collections.


• Coordinate with sales and operations teams to resolve billing issues.


• Prepare AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.

  1. Accounts Payable (AP) Management


• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors in accordance with company policies.


• Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.


• Prepare AP aging reports and manage cash flow for routine disbursements.

  1. Regulatory Compliance


• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT (PPN) and income tax (PPh) reporting.


• Adhere to relevant financial laws and regulations, such as those regarding government accounting and financial reporting systems.


• Follow accounting standards.


• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure legal compliance and accurate reporting.

  1. Team Supervision and Coordination


• Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team in daily operations.


• Provide training and development to staff to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  1. Internal Control and Audit


• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.


• Develop and implement internal control procedures to prevent errors and fraud.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., , accurate or freight ERP systems).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good team work and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
