Legal Specialist

We are seeking a Legal Corporate Specialist to join our Batam team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about corporate legal, licensing, and compliance matters, especially those eager to work across various business sectors and engage directly with clients and government institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and oversee the licensing and permitting process for clients' business activities (RO, PMA, PMDN, BUJKA, and others).
• Assist clients with processing foreign permits and outbound visa applications (HPK, PRPTKA, etc.).
• Conduct regulatory checks and ensure compliance with local government requirements, particularly in Batam.
• Liaise with regional authorities and monitor local regulatory developments.
• Ensure all licenses and permits are processed efficiently and issued on time.
• Maintain productive relationships with local vendors and government agencies to align with company objectives and track related costs.
• Prepare and maintain internal reports and administrative documentation related to licensing, permits, and project progress.
• Provide regular project updates, identify potential challenges, and report to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in corporate legal, licensing, property legal, or client service roles are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of Indonesian laws/regulations, OSS system, investment & licensing procedures, and corporate governance.
• Familiarity with drafting and reviewing legal documents, agreements, and corporate instruments (internship or academic experience acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
