Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Department: Marketing

Location: Legian, Bali – On-site

Employment Type: Full-time

What You'll Do

Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).

Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that aligns with brand voice and hotel campaigns (photos, reels, short-form video, stories, blogs, UGC).

Monitor, respond to, and engage with guest comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.

Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, PR, and Events teams to promote promotions, packages, and on-site events.

Manage influencer partnerships and local collaborations; negotiate terms and track results.

Track performance using analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics) and provide regular reporting with actionable insights.

Stay updated on trends, platform changes, and best practices in hospitality social media.

Maintain a content calendar, asset library, and brand guidelines; ensure consistency across channels.

Handle crisis and reputation management with tact and escalation protocols.

Support paid social campaigns: audience targeting, ad copy, creative briefing, and performance analysis.

Coordinate with Guest Services to curate real-time social moments and user-generated content.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of social media management, preferably in hospitality, travel, or consumer brand.

Strong written and visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand tone.

Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Google Analytics).

Experience with video editing and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Knowledge of SEO and content optimization for social platforms.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed for campaigns.

Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.

Customer-centric mindset with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing influencer campaigns and local partnerships.

Experience with paid social advertising (Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads).

Photography/videography skills; ability to shoot on-site assets.

Knowledge of reputation management and crisis communication.
