GEOLOG is a world leader in oilfield services delivering solutions to Oil, Gas and Geothermal operators globally, with a workforce approaching 2,000 and operations in 40+ countries.  

The Company seeks to add Mud Loggers with different levels of experience for Indonesia operations.

POSITION
  • The Mud Logger is expected to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week on a flexible rotation schedule.
  • The Mud Logger is responsible for analysing all the data during the drilling & other rig operations.
Responsibilities also include, but are not limited, to:
  • Creation, interpretation and submission of geological reports and logs. 
  • To be the first contact point for the client and geologist.
  • Maintenance and on-site technical support in case of equipment failure.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Post graduate degree in geology.
  • Minimum 2 years- experience in Mud Logging on drilling rigs, out of which at least 1 year in Geothermal operations.
  • Good understanding of rig operations and ability to communicate effectively with client / rig supervisors.
  • Proven, extensive knowledge of rig safety regulations and safety issues.
  • Analytical and methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English essential.
  • Ability to pass a work related Physical and drug screening.
