We are seeking a Procurement Officer to support our Pumps, Cyclones & Valves (PCV) operations in the APAC region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services that keep our mineral processing operations running smoothly.

Your Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, equipment, and services.

  • Contract Negotiation: Secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions through effective negotiation.

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to optimize sourcing, reduce costs, and ensure material availability.

  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, resolving issues and ensuring compliance.

  • Cost Management: Monitor and analyze procurement costs, drive efficiencies, and deliver savings.

  • Risk Management: Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and compliance.

  • Compliance: Ensure alignment with company policies, industry standards, and ethical practices.

  • Inventory Support: Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to manage stock levels and minimize stockouts.

  • Data Analysis: Use procurement data to track performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, finance, and engineering to support business objectives and projects.

About You

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management (mining, minerals, or heavy industry exposure is an advantage).

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to deliver cost savings and efficiencies.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Knowledge of mineral processing standards and regulations would be highly regarded.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset.
